Please note, addition of this surface increases the overall height of the hitting surface to 2 1/4".  Accordingly for accurate use, the height of stance platform should be adjusted (see our free diy instruction page on building a stance platform with minimal tools for under $50.00 that will work with virtually any golf simulator base).  Additionally, to assure that the sensors have adequate light, lighting should be in place directly over the hitting surface.

It has a flexible urethane base to help absorb the impact of the golf club striking the surface as well as a high quality 110 oz grass turf to provide a more realistic feeling hitting surface.  This surface will hold a tee without having that annoying dimple hole.  Just look at how deep an iron can sit into the turf compared to the original turf provided with the Optishot_tm.  In addition to that, there is the extra cushioning of the urethane underside of the turf that is super thick!!!
